Grupo Lamosa, one of the largest ceramics producers of the world, has purchased a system for recycling of airborne wastewater from Drupps to be installed at one of its production plants in Peru, to achieve sustainability ambitions by increasing water efficiency and to ensure long term operational viability.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Drupps_ceramic_Grupo<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Grupo Lamosa, one of the largest ceramics producers of the world, has purchased a full-scale Drupps Vapor system for recovery of water from airborne wastewater, to be installed at one of its ceramic tiles production plant in Peru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Drupps system<\/a> will be recovering up to 25,000 tonnes of water per year from exhaust gasses in the production process, which means that almost 40% of the water used in the production can be recovered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main purpose of the installation is to help the plant mitigate water scarcity issues by significantly reducing production’s net water use, while maintaining output at full speed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This is an important step for us in our ambition to increase efficiency across our operations, and to ensure the long term viability of our sites in the face of water scarcity, while simultaneously taking important steps toward our sustainability goals and protecting communities where we are present”, says Domenico Casaretto, Country Manager Cer\u00e1mica San Lorenzo, a subsidiary company at Grupo Lamosa.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The system is planned to be installed and commissioned during the second half of 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
