The search for Sweden\u2019s next great tech company continues \u2013 and this year, NyTeknik makes one of its key stops in Uppsala during Innovation Night on September 24<\/strong>. This means that Uppsala is officially one of the selected destinations on the 33-list national tour 2025<\/strong>. Innovation Night is organized by UIC, Uppsala Innovation Centre<\/strong>, together with 11 organizations from Uppsala\u2019s innovation support system.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014 That Innovation Night is part of the 33-list national tour is a clear recognition of the innovation power, competence, and collaboration that exists in Uppsala. It confirms our position as one of Sweden\u2019s most dynamic innovation environments,<\/em> says Niclas Stjernberg, CEO at UIC.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The 33-list<\/strong> is NyTeknik\u2019s annual ranking of Sweden\u2019s most promising young tech companies \u2013 startups with the potential to transform their industries, and perhaps even the world. Throughout the year, NyTeknik visits Sweden\u2019s leading innovation hubs to discover groundbreaking companies \u2013 and Uppsala has now secured a spot on this prestigious tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014 Innovation Night is a direct result of Uppsala\u2019s successful collaboration model \u2013 where academia, business, the public sector, and the innovation ecosystem work closely together to support entrepreneurs. It\u2019s precisely this structure that allows ideas to gain real momentum here, and we are proud to showcase it through a joint event, says Niclas Stjernberg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Part of a Bigger Picture<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Uppsala is already an important hub for entrepreneurs, researchers, investors, and innovators. With Innovation Night, the region is taking another step forward, creating a national meeting ground attracting participants from across Sweden and the Nordics. During the evening, NyTeknik will be on site to meet startups \u2013 some of which may very well end up on this year\u2019s list, to be announced in December.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014 This is a golden opportunity for startups to build networks, gain visibility, and open doors to future investments and collaborations. Our hope is that even more people will recognize the vast opportunities in our region, continues Niclas Stjernberg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Several companies supported by UIC have over the years secured a spot on the 33-list. It is therefore only natural that Uppsala is one of this year\u2019s tour stops. On stage during Innovation Night, some of these companies will share their journeys and be interviewed live. Among them: Helios Innovations, Graphmatech, AirForestry, Magstrom, PaperShell, and Cemvision<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014 The program highlights the breadth of disruptive solutions emerging at the intersection of health, space, industry, and society. This is an event for everyone curious about Sweden\u2019s most exciting startups \u2013 to understand how innovation becomes reality and how we can all play a role in driving it forward, concludes Niclas Stjernberg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
