This is a gigantic problem in many countries around the world, but it is also a problem in many parts of Sweden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BioCell Analytica grew out of research at SLU in Uppsala and carries out effect-based bioanalyses to detect health and environmentally hazardous contaminants in water. The company is aimed at players in the water industry, sewage treatment plants and drinking water plants. With their methods, they can, for example, ensure that the drinking water is not contaminated by chemicals hazardous to health and map the presence and treatment efficiency of environmentally hazardous chemicals in waste water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The unique thing about BioCell Analytica&#8217;s methods is that they measure the effect of all harmful substances included in the sample, instead of measuring the content of a few selected chemical substances as before. This provides valuable information that can help us understand how human health and the environment are affected by all the chemicals we are exposed to at the same time, the so-called cocktail
