The accelerator – a springboard for mature companies

An independent network and long-term support

One of the major advantages of UIC’s accelerator is access to a strong and independent network. UIC takes no ownership stakes in the companies, which means that coaching and support are always objective and tailored to what’s best for the company. The network consists of experts and industry contacts who help the companies grow in a way that suits their unique needs and conditions.

In addition to the network, the program offers a unique opportunity to receive credit of up to SEK 500,000 for coaching services and expert support from UIC’s partners. This gives companies the chance to access qualified help without needing direct capital injections, which can be crucial for growth and scaling up in the market.

Unlike many other accelerators where support is limited to a few months, UIC’s program spans a longer period—usually between two and three years. This long-term structure allows companies to develop with continuous support and guidance.

Why is the accelerator beneficial for mature companies?

Christoffer on what it takes to succeed as a company

To succeed as a company and entrepreneur, it’s important to have perseverance and a clear direction. Building a successful company isn’t just about quick fixes—it’s about making thoughtful decisions and working methodically over time. It’s also essential to stay close to the market. No matter how well-thought-out a business plan is, it will change when it meets reality.

A strong purpose and clear drive are also important factors. When setbacks arise, it becomes easier to move forward if there is a sense of meaning that goes beyond pure growth.

– One thing I often notice among successful companies is their ability to combine strategic thinking with a hands-on mentality—they can make concrete decisions and drive work forward, while also seeing the big picture, says Christoffer Ahlén.
