Four companies featured on this year’s prestigious 33-listan by Ny Teknik have received business development support from UIC – Uppsala Innovation Centre. These companies are driving groundbreaking innovation in health, pharmaceuticals, medtech and greentech – with the potential to make a global impact.
Once again, the presence of several UIC-supported companies on the list highlights the strength of the Uppsala region’s innovation ecosystem. It also underscores the value of UIC’s efforts to create a supportive environment for entrepreneurs with global ambitions.

The following four UIC-affiliated companies are featured on this year’s 33 List:
The healthtech company Enaiblers and the medtech companies PixlBio and SampleFacts are currently receiving coaching through the business development program UIC Accelerate, while the greentech company Helios Innovations has previously received support through the startup program UIC Build.
- Enaiblers – develops solutions to detect outbreaks of tropical diseases in field.
- Helios Innovations – purifies industrial wastewater using low-temperature waste heat.
- PixlBio – builds an automated robotics lab to accelerate drug discovery and testing.
- Samplefacts – enables reliable blood sampling even in challenging and low-resource environments.
Published annually by Ny Teknik, the 33 List highlights Sweden’s most promising young tech companies. To qualify, companies must be based on proprietary innovation, be no older than seven years, and remain unlisted. The selection also considers how the company’s innovation aligns with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
