Validation grants
Examples of possible verification activities:
- Recruitment and team building
- Access to networks and capital
- Legal, e.g. help with contracts
- Communication and design
- IP strategy
- Purchase of market studies
- Training that strengthens operational implementation (sales, board work, business development, etc.)
- Support for marketing activities: Travel costs and participation fees for trade fairs, customer and partner meetings, capital provision
Examples of unapproved activities:
- Prototype and product development
- Salariesin the incubator company
- Investments in intangible, tangible or financial assets, e.g. fees for patent application, equipment, inventory, etc.
The verification activity is carried out by an external consultant hired by UIC. This means that you do not need to handle any invoices.
Qualification requirements for application
- The company is admitted to UIC (UIC company), a maximum of one year has passed since the start of the last program
- Registered limited company
Application
In order to apply for verification funds, you need to have spoken to us beforehand. Include a quotation from the consultant you wish to perform the service with your application. You therefore need to suggest a supplier yourself, but we are happy to help with suggestions. UIC’s partners have special offers for UIC companies.
The company can only apply for one verification activity per application. The support is counted as city support.
Reporting
After completed verification, the consultant must submit a written report that is shared with the company and your contact person at UIC. The company also writes a short report describing the outcome of the activity.
